I am pretty outspoken when it comes to my distaste for overly-girly gameday gear. I can’t deal with pink jerseys, and I feel like there is no place for sequins on Ravens gear.
However, I have a love of huge, oversized hair pieces. My daughter owns bows of every size, shape and color, and I am not scared of rocking one myself on occasion. I might not want to wear form-fitting shirts or glitter on my body on Sundays, but I certainly am willing to wear something big and sparkly on my head.
I attended the Ravens/Broncos stinkfest this season, and was intrigued by a woman’s headpiece who walked through the concourse. I had to have one, so I made small talk with the woman, who I ended up knowing through a family member and my past involvement with the Ravens Roosts. I was ecstatic to hear that Stacey, the owner of Ravenators, created that beautiful piece of art that she wore upon her head. I had to have one!
If you saw me in the tailgate lots or at The Bank at Ray’s Last Dance this past week, you had to notice my awesome feathered headband, topped with my own little Raven. It is now one of my favorite Ravens accessories, and I cannot wait to wear it tomorrow at my family’s gathering to watch our team move on to the AFC Championship. I might even have to order another one for the Big Dance (fingers crossed that we make it that far!). Stacey has many different options – No two Ravenators are the same!
Can’t wait to get your hands on one of these, right? You are in luck, ladies – Stacey has been kind enough to offer one lucky reader a custom “D-Fence” Ravenator on the house! All you need to do is tell me where you would rock your Ravenator, even in the off-season! Best answer wins! Comment on Facebook or under this blog post to enter! If you aren’t the lucky winner, please check out Stacey’s Facebook page or email her: [email protected]!
